  • HHS Secretary and U.S. Surgeon General to Unveil New H1N1 Flu PSA Campaign

    WASHINGTON  On Tuesday, January 12, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will be unveiling a new radio public service announcement (PSA) campaign urging African-Americans to get vaccinated against the H1N1 flu. HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will be joined by U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Regina Benjamin and Dr. Anthony Fiori from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for a conference call with press to discuss the new PSAs and to provide an update on H1N1 flu activity.

    Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Regina Benjamin, M.D., U.S. Surgeon General, Anthony Fiori, M.D., Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will hold a Press conference call to announce a new H1N1 PSA campaign urging African-Americans to get vaccinated. The Press Conference is planned for Tuesday, January 12, 2010, 2:00 p.m. EST.
