  • Returning to the scene of the Internship

International Business student Janet Da Silva and Micro Biology student Lusu Ndawillic were recently visiting with one of their Mentors Debra Smith, Director of Community and Constituent affairs for the Governor. Both of these young ladies were part of an internship program in recent years and were inspired to continue their education at URI.

During their internship the girls were teamed with Maria Lopes and Anastacia Williams along with Debbie Smith and given training in how our government works. The visit was somewhat impromptu but caught by The Providence American camera. Congratulations Janet and Lusu, looking forward to watching your careers develop.
